DIY Texture microcement transforms your concrete with the texture and appearance of wood. With the use of premixed dry polymers this is a simple just add water formula. DIY texture is applied at a thickness of 1/8 inch to create the slip resistant texture of wood.
One box of DIY Texture will cover approximately 100sf per coat.
This material is used for the basecoat as well as the texture coat.
To Mix simply add 3Qt cool water to a 5 gallon bucket, add 1/2 box DIY Texture and mix. Add remaining 1/2 box of DIY Texture and mix. Wait 5 minutes to allow particles to hydrate then give it a quick mix and add small amounts of water as needed until a pancake batter consistency is achieved. DesignCrete – DIY Texture is a self- bonding and polymer modified microcement that was formulated to make resurfacing your concrete easy. This product is used as the basecoat and the texture coat in order to create custom textures and patterns such as wood, tile, brick and stone.
